Professor Mukherjee Anniversary CD

Prof. Mukherjee came to Taipei in October 1992 and has taught in CHIBS for ten years. He temporarily gave in his teaching in India by the end of 1993, for his love in the Chinese culture and people. During his stay, Prof. Murkhejee devoted greatly to the Buddhist academy in Taiwan, and have instilled confidence and knowledge of Sanskrit and Pali languages in our students. He was highly praised and loved by students and colleagues. This archive is an act of gratitude and appreciation by CHIBS to Prof. Mukherjee, he will be dearly missed.

Content:

The archive contains Prof. Mukherjee`s account of causes and conditions to visit Taiwan, as well as an introduction to his background and experience in the academic field. It also features a total of nine articles which were published during his stay, his out-of-print doctoral dissertation, and photos of his life in Taiwan, from 1993 to 2000.
